Job Description

As a Pipe Fitter, you’ll select the appropriate type and size of pipe and related materials based on job specifications and system operation knowledge.

  • Plan the installation sequence to ensure efficiency and safety while avoiding conflicts or delays.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine pipe layout and installation procedures.
  • Cut, thread, assemble, and install piping systems in accordance with safety standards and project requirements.
  • Ensure proper support and alignment of pipes, making necessary adjustments during installation.
  • Perform inspections and tests on installed piping to verify quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately.
