Job Description

The Pipefitter is responsible for selecting the appropriate type and size of pipes and related materials, including supports, hangers, and hydraulic cylinders, based on job specifications.

  • They assemble, install, and repair piping systems, ensuring proper fit and function.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine pipe layout and installation procedures.
  • Cut, thread, and pipe sections accurately, using hand and power tools.
  • Inspect and test piping systems for leaks, pressure, and safety compliance.
  • Collaborate with other trades and team members to ensure timely and quality work completion.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety regulations and standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on piping systems as needed.
