Job Description
The HVAC/R Technician is responsible for performing repairs, maintenance, and installations of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC, refrigeration, chiller, and rack systems to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance on various equipment including supermarket refrigeration and HVAC units.
Install, service, and troubleshoot HVAC-R systems in commercial settings, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Collaborate with team members and clients to diagnose issues accurately and provide effective solutions.
Maintain accurate records of service activities and parts used.
For apprentices or entry-level technicians, develop skills and knowledge under supervision, progressing towards independent service capabilities.
The role requires field service experience, mechanical aptitude, and a focus on customer satisfaction to ensure reliable, efficient operation of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
